divider Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center

Welcome

The Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center has integrated clinical, epidemiological and genetic research at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since its conception in 1977. Our research is focused on diseases of the brain and nervous system throughout the life cycle. Our mission is to find the cause or causes of these disabling disorders by investigating human populations at risk.
